We're Gonna Try to Play Catch-Up!

We'd like to say sorry to all of you Riplet fans out there. We tried to keep our new year's resolution of blogging more often and taking "daily" photos but we failed within the first few weeks! We actually have quite a few pictures though and a lot of fun things going on in our lives, so we'll try to get a bunch of those belated posts up ASAP. First of all, I wanted to share with you that I graduated from college on St Patrick's day (okay, mommy says it wasn't college it was just classes on campus with college students teaching me) and when I left, they gave me a huge balloon. I was so excited to get it and I didn't think I had to share it with anyone else. That same week, we had a friend come stay with us while his mommy and daddy were painting their new house. It was fun having him over each day because he is just 2 weeks younger then we are and he's got the same color hair and style as Jack, so he fit right in. We even took him for a walk with us each day in our 4th choo choo wagon car. Mommy said we were quads instead of triplets while he was here.

The Start of My Modeling Career

My sister thinks she's the model of the family. Sure, she gets a lot more clothing to review then I do, but that is simply because she's a girl and we all know that "girl's clothing is just so much cuter then boy's" (I've heard mommy, memere and g'ma say this more then once).

Anyways- my point- I am the model of the family. Just take a look at this photo my mommy captured of me at the beach last summer while vacationing on the Cape. Mind you, I was not posing this is just me being myself at the beach. Impressive, huh?

Our New House!

Mommy suggested we tell you all about our new house we just moved into. Let me start out by saying that I was tricked into this move. I thought we were going "bye bye" for a few hours last weekend and next thing I know we've got a new address! I told mommy how sad I was about the move, sure the new house is nice and big but I miss my old house, too. I let mommy know just how sad I was the first few days by grabbing her shoes and bringing them to her asking for us to go "bye bye". I also couldn't sleep in the new house the first night or so, but lucky for me mommy & daddy had some room in their bed for me. For some odd reason, Addison and Jordan had no issues with the move. They slept like babies (tee hee- cuz I'm a big kid now) and loved having the full length of the new house to run through.

Haircuts & Sunny Days!

Here's that post we were telling you about a few weeks ago, the one we couldn't make the pictures download to. Well, after a lot of tries and a long weekend of moving we finally found time and patience to make it work. So here it is. Its a little outdated but we'll get you updated on the move very, very soon!

This weekend we took a break from helping mommy and daddy pack and got to have some fun. My brothers first got their hair cut (by daddy) and then we got to go outside and play in the snow! I couldn't have been more excited, because I love the snow and love wearing my snow boots. The weather finally warmed up to the 40's so we had to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. Here's a few photos from the day. Notice Jordan's hair cute is SHORT! Okay, well short for him. His curls are gone, that's for sure. Jack's hair is shorter and of course he screamed like daddy was cutting off his limbs during his trim (as usual). Enjoy!

We had a post all ready to go for you yesterday, but we can't get the pictures to download onto Blogger for some reason. Looks like we'll have to get mommy to work on it for us and hopefully have that post up very soon.

Its Been Awhile

So we've been really busy lately. I know, I know we've told you this before but this time we mean it.

Let's see where to start. I joined Jordan and Addison last week at our speech and development classes at a nearby college. I was excited to hang out with the college kids and get to play with all of their toys. We go each day, Monday through Thursday and lucky for us, g'pa Dave has been coming with us to help us get in the door. He tells us that mommy just doesn't have three hands to hold each of ours as we walk in.

Mommy has been very busy, too helping Auntie Dawn with her dance school and teaching classes. Auntie Dawn had surgery almost 2 weeks ago to remove the cancer in her tonsils and while they were removing them, they needed to remove her lymph nodes, too. We haven't got to see her yet (we REALLY miss her though, we usually see her every morning when she's taking our cousin's to school) but mommy said she's got a big owie on her neck from where they had to take the lymph nodes and just isn't ready to get out yet. I just really hope the doctors offered her an Elmo sticker for all of that.

We also had a fun surprise come yesterday in the mail. We got a HUGE box of goodies from Memere & Pepere for Valentine's day! We couldn't wait to dig into all of the fun treats they sent along with stickers, new coloring books and stickers for our window. Mommy says those stickers for the window are called window decals. Either way- they are stickers and we LOVE putting them on and off of our glass slider.

Finally, as if we aren't busy enough, we just found out we will be moving into a big, new house in March. Mommy said we are going to love it there because we'll have our own "rec room" in the basement where we can ride all of our bikes, cars, and other toys in circles. We got to go take a look at it last weekend and Jordan had a blast running the length of the basement. Mommy said he's going to sleep well after playing down there each day. We'll see about that.

Since mommy hasn't been taking as many photos as she'd like (remember her resolution do to more everday pictures? not so much which is a blessing for us.) here's a few photos she just found on our point and shoot camera that never got downloaded. Enjoy!

1. BonBon Rose Girls
I adore the ladies at BonBon Rose Girls. Kristin and Megan are gorgeous, successful and extremely stylish women. I love reading their take on the latest trends and finding new sites to shop at. The girls are always on top of all things fashionable from clothing to furniture and anything in between (ie: Champagne Saturdays). 2. Dear Lillie
I love Jenni. She's an amazing mommy, wife, designer, and photographer. She has her own (very successful) shop on Etsy called Dear Lillie. She has the most amazing pieces for both your little girl and for yourself. My favorite is the Adeliene dress for me, I just need to find a place to wear it to. Dear Lillie's blog is filled with stories about her daughter, Lillie and gorgeous photos of her wearing her new designs. Jenni also does a fabulous job decorating her home and graciously shows us how she does it.

3. Centsational Girl
I absolutely love Kate aka: "Centsational Girl" and her style. I know most of you are surprised to see that I love reading about home interiors and decor, especially one that shows a lot of DIY projects because I don't have a crafty bone in my body. I think I love to read it to get inspired to decorate my home because Kate's style is so simple yet elegant and very chic. I've been reading her blog now for awhile and I think I may try a DIY project of my own soon. Although, no guarantees of how it will turn out. ha!

4. Cool Mom Picks
This site is packed with amazing items for your kids. They are one of my top sources for finding the newest brands for the Riplets. I almost hate giving you this fabulous find simply because I love having the inside scoop all to myself. I guess I need to learn to share, huh?
5. The Fabulous Won
Wasn't this one an obvious choice for me?! I'm a contributor on Fabulous Won, so I had to mention this as one of my favorite blogs, but I thought if I made it one of my top 4 slots you'd think I was being biased. Beth, the mind behind The Fabulous Won is an amazing woman that juggles a gazillion things at once each day from reviews, giveaways, and informational posts to taking care of her 4 children and her husband. Climbing to New Heights

I've recently figured out that I can reach anything I want by climbing. If there's nothing to climb up onto, I've figured out how to push something else to the area to make me taller. Mommy says I'm a pain in the butt and to "get down", but I think I'm making her life so much easier. I no longer beg to get her to grab me something off the table and I no longer need to ask her first to wear her jewelry (as you can see from the photos).
Besides climbing, we've been busy as usual prepping for our speech classes we take at college Monday through Thursday. It used to be just Jordan and I going, but they decided that Jack must be smart enough now, too--because he's joining us for 2nd semester. That starts this week, so mommy's been prepping us with trials and making us talk A LOT.

Jordan also spent this week trying out my pajamas (see photo below) but it wasn't with my permission. This is what happens when you pee through your overnight diapers and daddy is too lazy to get you a new pair from your room. I bet he's wishing we weren't the same size. hehe

Speaking of sizes, Jack has been the pip squeak of the Riplets now for a long time. He's always a good 2-3 lbs lighter then me and Jordan and he's actually the first born. I have to tell you, its really hard calling him my "big" brother. Anyways- the past few weeks he's been eating like crazy (I think he's bulking up to get revenge for me stealing his toys) and look at how much he's grown now? His own pajama's are way too small! (don't let him know I told you--but they are only size 12-18 mos-- lol)

On a side note, our Auntie Dawn was diagnosed with tonsil cancer this past week. She just had surgery to remove her tonsils and her lymph nodes surrounding the area. She's still in the hospital, so please pray she can have a quick recovery and feel more like herself soon. We love her and cannot wait for her to return to her daily visits.

Stickers & Play Doh

Our house has been busy as usual this new year. We were so busy we couldn't even find time to update you here. I finally told mom that I'd skip my nap today so that you all could get your Riplet fix for the week.

We've been really loving anything involving paper (ie: loose papers, books, mommy's binders, magazines, color books) and Jack especially loves to sort (mommy says "aka: scatter it throughout the house) it all out for us. Addison really enjoys tearing pages out of each color book, while I personally love stickers. I could spend an hour looking at all of them and then taking each one off the paper and finding a new place for them. The other two love stickers, too but not the way I do. They take a few off the sheet and place them in a book and continue on sorting, coloring and tearing out pages.

Mommy told us she's really happy to see the three of us wanting to do something together like this. In fact- she decided it was time to introduce us to this fabulous "gunk" she calls Play Doh. I think its pretty fun to shape it into animals and balls and to use the fun tools that came with our kit. Addison is always wanting to taste it, even after mommy tells her its "icky" (but she doesn't give up and nibbles it while we play).

Here's a few pictures of us coloring together. Notice Addison standing on the chair, which is a huge "no no" according to mommy. Yesterday I caught her sitting like a cat, perched up on top of our play kitchen, looking out the window. I knew she was being naughty so I ran and got daddy. Addie told me I'd reget telling on her later. I'm not sure what she means.
